What to do in Seville.

This summer our trip to the Philippines got cancelled unfortunately. Instead, we went to Spain. We spent 5 days in Seville and we thought the city was gorgeous!

We stayed in hotel Don Paco, which had a rooftop pool. If you are visiting Seville in the summer, you need a pool! The average temperature was 35 degrees, so we looked forward to cooling down in the pool all day!

Here is my list of what to see and do in Seville:

1. Cathedral de Seville
La Giralda
2. Alcazar de Seville.
A beautiful royal palace, with an outside garden. This is also where Game of Thrones was shot, where Myrcella and Tristan play outside in the gardens of Dorne.
3. Maria Luisa Parc
This park offers shadow on a sunny day. It is full of tropical plants and is the perfect activity when you’ve had enough of strolling around the city.
4. Metropol Parasol

We went there with sunset, and the view was so incredibly beautiful! It was super romantic and it was not crowded at all! You have a beautiful view of the city! You can look really far and see almost the entire city. Definitely recommend. Afterwards you can have a drink or bite on the square, maybe a nice Tinto de Verano or Sangria.

5. Plaza de Espana

On the day we went to visit Plaza de Espana it was 38 degrees Celsius. Due to covid-19 and the temperature, it was almost completely empty, which gave the opportunity to take some beautiful photos.

SO gorgeous, and because of Corona, there were hardly any tourists!
6. Golden Tower

We also wanted to visit Plaza del Torro, where they have shows with bulls. Unfortunately this was closed, but next to it we found the Golden Tower. From this tower you had a nice view, a nice walk along the river and some interesting information about Spain’s past on the seas and oceans.
