Chefchaouen is a small but touristic town, in the middle of the mountains. It is situated in the north of Morocco. It is quite easily accessible by bus. We took the bus from Rabat to Fez, and then from Fez to Chefchaouen.
The best activity in this town is just walking around, everything is blue and beautiful! Make sure to take your camera because around every other corner, there are many Instagram worthy spots.

Next to the town there is a great sunset viewpoint. It can get quite busy, but it is still beautiful and enjoyable.

If you have experience with maps.me, you might know that it doesn’t always recommend the safest, most commonly known routes. To us, it recommended a viewpoint and we thought: sure! Why not? Let’s check it out, let’s be aDvenTurOus

Now this is when we should have realized the difference between adventurous and plain stupid and reckless.
Now this is when we should have realized the difference between adventurous and plain stupid and reckless. I am usually up for anything that will get me to a nice viewpoint, but I would soon come to regret my bravery/recklessness. Because climbing up was scary but easy, however going downhill was downright terrifying.
We came down to the street safely, just a few scratches and really dirty from the sand and rocks. But NEVER AGAIN! We then proceeded to the regular crowded viewpoint, which was basically just as nice.

I honestly have at least 200 photos of this place, because almost every street is a beautiful blue street or has blue buildings.
